Finally Perfected Pecan Pie Bars! 🥧✨


Hi Reader,

If you love pecan pie but don’t love fussing with pie crust, I have the perfect solution: Salted Brown Butter Pecan Pie Bars 🥰

I first shared this recipe back in 2016, and it’s been completely refreshed for 2025. The crust had a tendency to crumble, and the filling (though delicious) could be smoother and easier to make.

So my team and I went back into the kitchen to fix both: the base is sturdier now (thanks to a little liquid and cornstarch), and the topping is gooey, tender, and EASY!

No corn syrup needed. 🍁

The whole process is less fussy, and the results are better than ever. You’ll find the updated version on my website today and on page 77 of my New York Times best-selling (!!!) cookbook, Sally’s Baking 101.
